Start where you are. Grow from there

You don't need to get fit first. You don't need to be young or flexible. You just need to turn up once.

Who it is for

A place to get fitter, grow and belong

You don't need to be fit or have any Jiu-Jitsu experience to start. People join Infinity for different reasons — to get active, learn something new, build confidence or simply do something positive for themselves.

What keeps them coming back is everything that develops along the way: better fitness, new skills, greater confidence, real friendships and the feeling of being part of a community.

You come to learn Jiu-Jitsu. You become part of a family.

Training approach

Technique first, ego last

Classes run for 60 minutes and are taught in a clear, structured way. Experienced students look after beginners - that's the standard here.

Focused learning

Learn the right way, step by step

Our classes follow a structured progression designed to help you build solid Jiu-Jitsu skills from the beginning.

You’ll learn the proper techniques, practise them with your training partners, and gradually build your understanding as you progress through our system.

The focus is on good technique, continuous improvement and becoming more confident on the mats.

FAQs

Common questions

Do I need to be fit before I start?
No. You'll build fitness through training itself, at your own pace. No previous experience or fitness is required.
Am I too old to start Jiu-Jitsu?
Not at all. Adults start Jiu-Jitsu at many different ages and fitness levels. Training can be adapted to your experience and pace, and you don't need any previous martial arts experience to begin.
How long is a class?
Adult classes run for 60 minutes.
What should I wear for the intro class?
Comfortable clothes and water. We supply a trial uniform.
How much is membership?
You can find our current membership options and pricing on the Membership page.
Do I have to compete?
No. Competition is completely optional and isn't required to progress at Infinity. Many students train purely for fitness, self-defence, personal development and the social side of Jiu-Jitsu.
We train at Naomh Mearnóg GAA Club in Portmarnock, with a large car park and changing rooms available. Message us if you'd like to know anything else before your first class.
