Little Champions · 5-6 years

Confidence starts with fun

Our youngest students learn jiu-jitsu the way five and six year olds learn best: through games, movement and lots of encouragement.

What children gain

Small wins, every week

Confidence

Trying something new in front of others, and finding out they can do it.

Listening

Following instructions, taking turns and staying with the group.

Coordination

Balance, rolling, crawling and body awareness that carries into everything else.

How classes feel

Warm, busy and full of smiles

Classes are positive, active and encouraging. Professor Fabiano gets to know each child and helps them join in at their own pace.

Classes run for 45 minutes — just right for this age group. Parents are welcome to watch, and many stay to enjoy seeing their child's confidence grow week by week.

Instructor support

Patient coaching, every single class

Led by Professor Fabiano, a 5th-degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt with more than 35 years of experience, this young age group gets patient, personal attention.

If your child is shy or unsure, let us know before class. We'll introduce them gradually, pair them carefully and help them participate at their own pace.
