Skills for the mats. Confidence for life
Real Jiu-Jitsu, taught properly, in an environment where children learn, support each other and grow together.

Outcomes
What children take home
Confidence
Solving problems calmly instead of panicking.
Resilience
Getting it wrong, trying again, and getting it right.
Respect
Looking after training partners at every size and level.
Coordination
Balance, movement and body awareness that develop through training.
Curriculum
A structured path for steady progress
Classes run for 45 minutes and follow a clear syllabus, so children always know what they're working on.
- Escapes and defence first - staying safe before anything else.
- Positional control, movement and balance.
- Age-appropriate submissions taught with strict safety rules.
- Self-defence scenarios, including how to handle bullying without violence.

Progression
Stripes, belts and earned progress
Progress is recognised through attendance, technical development, consistency and behaviour on the mats.
At Infinity
Kids and adult white belts follow our attendance-based stripe system:
- 20 completed classes = 1 stripe
- 4 stripes = progression to the next belt
This is Infinity Jiu-Jitsu’s internal progression system.
IBJJF framework
Belt hierarchy, minimum ages and applicable minimum wait periods follow the official IBJJF Graduation System.
IBJJF requirements define the official framework. Final promotion timing is determined by the Professor based on the student’s development and readiness.
Infinity Jiu-Jitsu follows the IBJJF belt hierarchy and age requirements.

Learning from each other
As students gain experience, they naturally become examples for newer and younger students. They learn that leadership means helping others, training responsibly and contributing positively to the group.
Competition choice
Competition is always optional
Competition is available for students who want the challenge, but it is never required.
Students who choose to compete can develop confidence, resilience and the ability to perform under pressure. Students who prefer not to compete follow the same programme and remain equally valued members of the academy.
What parents say
